These beautiful bespoke detached properties offer luxurious accommodation nestled in a private peaceful bay a stone’s throw away from the sea shore but yet close to all local amenities.
The lodge is located only two miles from the village of Auchencairn and eleven miles from Castle Douglas, making it a fantastic base to explore the area's natural beauty and wildlife, or just to relax and look out to sea and maybe even spot the dolphins. There are numerous attractions close by including Sweetheart Abbey, Galloway Wildlife Conservation Park, Drumlanrig Castle, Broughton House and Garden, Caerlaverock Castle, The Summer Gallery, Threave Castle and Gardens, Ellisland Farm, Robert Burns House and Museum, Dundrennan Abbey, Loch Ken Water Sports, The Stewartry Museum and many lovely golf courses including Colvend, New Galloway and Dalbeattie.
These attractive lodges are set privately around a large secluded bay, beside the sea shore, each with a private enclosed balcony with seating area and hot tub. Guests are welcome to explore the bay and country walks around the estate. Leisure facilities include a private hot tub and sea fishing. Amenities include ample parking, towels, bed linen, electricity, central heating and free WiFi. We regret smoking is not permitted. Pets are permitted in lodges 3 and 4 and in the platinum lodges. A welcome kitchen/toiletries pack is included and bath robes provided. A pub, post office, shop and restaurant are two miles away. Arrival time is 4pm.
This stunning single storey accommodation offers one kingsize bedroom with beautiful sea views; flatscreen TV with freeview; iPod dock and patio doors leading out to enclosed balcony; bathroom with large bath and separate shower cubical, his and hers sinks and WC; additional WC; lounge/kitchen/diner: spacious open-plan room with large flatscreen TV with Blu-ray DVD, freeview, WiFi and feature fire; kitchen area: modern, well-equipped, with wine-cooler, gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and large dining table; utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.
